Plain English summary

TrashAssassins.org is a youth-facing information site. Kids do not give us their email, phone number, or other contact details. A parent creates Assassin slots on the adult companion site (PickupArtists.org) and gets a Parent PIN. The kid uses that PIN here to unlock a nickname profile, customizable assassin character, and progress tracking tied to the PIN — not to a child's personal contact information. There is no chat between users on this site.

Who this policy is for

Kids and teens using TrashAssassins.org. Parents and guardians who set up Parent PINs. Teachers, coaches, and other adults helping a household get started.

What we do not collect from children on this site

What a Parent PIN household may involve

Parent / household account data lives on the adult companion site (PickupArtists.org) under the parent's account (for example, parent email). That site has its own privacy notice. On TrashAssassins.org, after a Parent PIN unlock, we may store: nickname; customizable assassin character choices (avatar options — not real photos of children); progress / mission stats tied to that PIN nickname; and technical basics needed to run the site (for example, standard server logs, device type, approximate region from IP). We do not use these to build advertising profiles of children.

Photos

We do not ask kids to upload real photos of themselves on this site. Hall of Shame / Hall of Fame (when shown) are about places, not people. Any place photos are staff-curated; faces should be out of frame.

How we use information

Run nickname profiles and progress under a Parent PIN. Keep the site working and secure. Improve the program (in aggregate, not to market to a specific child). Comply with law if required. We do not sell children's personal information. We do not run behavioral advertising aimed at kids on this site.

Sharing

We do not share kid nickname/progress data with other families or the public as a contact directory. We may use service providers who host or secure the site (they only get what they need to do that job). We may disclose information if the law requires it.

Parents' choices

Parents create and control Assassin slots and Parent PINs on the adult companion site. Parents can ask us to correct or delete household-linked nickname/progress data by contacting us through RightWhatsLeft.org. Kids should not be able to change parent account settings from this youth site.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards for the type of data we hold. No online system is perfect — parents should keep Parent PINs private (like a household password).

Links to other sites

Links to RightWhatsLeft.org, PickupArtists.org, or videos/stories may leave this youth site. Those sites have their own practices. Kids should not enter adult checkout or payment flows.

Changes

If we change this policy in a material way, we will update the date and, when appropriate, notify parents through the household/parent channel.
